چکیده

The performance of classic radar geometry based on the line-of-sight (LOS) signal transmitted from to target in free space is affected by multipath echoes urban areas, where non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signals reflected obstacles are received radar. Based prior information situation, this article proposes a novel two-stage localization algorithm with exploitation dense clutter environment. In offline stage, propagation parameters uniformly distributed samples field view predicted ray-tracing technique. online rough location estimated maximum similarity between measurements and reference at different locations. described likelihood respect all possible associated hypotheses. A gating threshold derived exclude less likely hypotheses reduce computational burden. accurate acquired non-linear least squares (NLS) optimization components. Simulation results various noise conditions show that proposed method provides robust under conditions, pre-calculation ensures real-time algorithm. root mean square error (RMSE) simulation shows advantage over existing method. presented suggest can be applied NLOS applications complex environments.

MIMO Radar Target Localization and Performance Evaluation under SIRP Clutter

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar has become a thriving subject of research during the past decades. In the MIMO radar context, it is sometimes more accurate to model the radar clutter as a nonGaussian process, more specifically, by using the spherically invariant random process (SIRP) model. In this paper, we focus on the estimation and performance analysis of the angular spacing bet...

Multiple Radar Target Tracking in Environments with High Noise and Clutter

Tracking a time-varying number of targets is a challenging dynamic state estimation problem whose complexity is intensified under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) or high clutter conditions. This is important, for example, when tracking multiple, closely spaced targets moving in the same direction such as a convoy of low observable vehicles moving through a forest or multiple targets moving in a...

Target Detection in Compound-Gaussian Clutter with Adaptive OFDM Radar

This paper mainly deals with the problem of target detection in compound-Gaussian clutter with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) radar. First, the OFDM measurement model is developed to compound-Gaussian clutter by taking advantage of frequency diversity of OFDM radar waveform and we devise a generalized likelihood rate test (GLRT) detector where the target scattering coefficien...

“ Ultra - Wideband Ranging in Dense Multipath Environments

Ultra-wideband (UWB) radio, a new carrierless communication scheme using impulses, is a candidate technology for future communication and ranging applications. Recent progress on both in the technical and regulatory side of this technology has made this possible. The fine time resolution and material penetration capability of UWB signals has created a vision of novel ranging and positioning app...
